Submit Your Music – For Independent & Unsigned Bands - Riff Mania Radio – Free Internet Rock Radio

Skip menu

We spin independent and unsigned metal only. Before you send us your tracks, make sure you fit these guidelines so your submission doesn’t get buried.

  • Genres we accept: metal, death metal, black metal, grunge metal, progressive metal, hardcore metal, doom metal (and close hybrids).
  • Audio formats: high-quality MP3 (320 kbps), WAV or FLAC. No YouTube-only submissions.
  • File limits: individual tracks up to 20 MB; if your files are bigger, send a download link instead of an attachment.
  • Required info: band/artist name, country, primary subgenre, at least one streaming link (Bandcamp, SoundCloud, Spotify, etc.).
  • Optional but helpful: album/EP title, release year, social links, lyrics, and any content warnings.
  • Professionalism: please avoid sending rough phone recordings or rehearsal room takes. We’re an underground station, but the mix still needs to hold up on air.

Riff Mania is dark, heavy and underground, but we still care about impact and vibe. Here’s what usually makes it into rotation:

  • Strong songwriting: memorable riffs, atmosphere or hooks – not just speed or volume.
  • Solid production: raw is fine, unlistenable is not. Guitars, drums and vocals should all be clearly audible.
  • Consistent aesthetic: artwork, band photo and overall vibe that match your sound and the extreme/underground metal world.
  • Lyrical themes: we lean into dark, intense themes that fit metal culture. We won’t play tracks that cross into hate speech, bigotry or abusive content.
  • Original material only: no covers unless you fully transform the song and hold all necessary permissions.
  • Release-ready tracks: please send songs that you’re ready for the world to hear, not early demos you plan to re-record.

Use this form to send us your best songs – finished, release-ready tracks only.

  • Submit up to 3 key tracks that represent your sound.
  • Always include a streaming link (Bandcamp, SoundCloud, Spotify, etc.).
  • If you share private links, make sure they’re set to playable and won’t expire too fast.
  • We cannot guarantee airplay, but every valid submission gets reviewed by a real human.

By submitting this form, you confirm that you own or control all necessary rights to the submitted recordings and grant Riff Mania Radio a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to stream them worldwide on our station and related channels.

We listen to every serious submission, but we’re a small, focused team. Here’s how the process usually works:

  • Review time: most bands hear back within 2–4 weeks. During peak periods it can take longer.
  • If we add you: we’ll email you to confirm which tracks made it into rotation and on which shows they’re most likely to appear.
  • If you don’t hear back: assume we’re passing for now. Silence doesn’t mean your band is bad – just that it may not fit our current programming.
  • Future releases: if we’ve ever played your band before, feel free to submit new material when it’s ready.
  • Do not spam: please avoid sending the same release over and over or chasing us daily for answers.

By submitting your music to Riff Mania Radio, you agree to the following:

  • Ownership: you either own the recordings outright or have clear permission from the rights holders (labels, collaborators, etc.) to submit them for radio play.
  • Non-exclusive license: you grant Riff Mania Radio a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to stream your tracks worldwide on our station, archives and station-branded playlists, without affecting your ability to distribute the music elsewhere.
  • No uncleared samples: please do not send material containing uncleared samples or content that infringes on other people’s rights.
  • Content responsibility: you remain fully responsible for the lyrical and visual content connected to your music.
  • Data & privacy: we store and use your submission details to manage radio programming and to contact you about your music.

For full details on how we handle data and user content, read our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
